Aviation life raft rental

Certified aviation life rafts from 4 to 14 persons, rented by the day, week or month to Part 91, 121 and 135 operators. Every raft ships inspected, in date, and with the certification paperwork your inspector will ask for.

The range

Rafts are Survival Products Inc. (Sunrise, FL) and Winslow valise-packed units with canopy, ballast bags, boarding ladder, sea anchor, bailer and paddles. Orange rafts are Part 91 units for private and corporate operators under 12,500 lb; yellow rafts are TSO-C70a approved and meet Part 135 overwater requirements. Rated capacity is the regulatory figure; overload is the emergency figure.

What is included

How rental works

  1. Tell us the mission

Aircraft type, passenger count, route and dates. We size the raft and quote the same day.

  2. We deliver to the ramp

To your FBO or hangar in South Florida, or overnight to the rest of the country, with paperwork in the valise.

  3. Return it

Hand it back to the FBO or ship it overnight to Sky-N-Sea International Inc. Get the name of the person at the FBO who receives it — we verify the return with them and close your rental. Extensions are an email or text away.

Questions we hear

Can I rent a raft for a single trip?

Yes. Rates are by the day, with weekly and monthly rates for longer deployments or while your own raft is out for recertification.

Do I need a TSO raft for Part 91?

For most private operations under 12,500 lb, no. Part 135 extended overwater operations require TSO-C70a approved rafts. We stock both and will confirm which applies to your operation.

Can you supply life vests and a beacon with the raft?

Yes. TSO-C13f adult/child vests, infant vests and ACR ResQLink 406 MHz beacons rent per crew member or passenger and ship in the same delivery. See the full equipment list.

My own raft is due for service. Can you cover the gap?

That is one of the most common reasons operators call. We can also arrange the inspection and recertification of your own raft and deliver it back when it is done.
